SnapAV’s Binary brand has just announced its BX 8K HDMI line of cables, which it says provides integrators with a future-proof line of cabling solutions.
The Charlotte, N.C.-based company points out the BX 8K HDMI line of cables are specifically designed for installation professionals. SnapAV says the products feature zinc-alloy connector heads for increased strength and flexibility, as well as GripTek connections that are designed to prevent the connectors From disconnecting from plugged-in components.

The BX 8K HDMI line of cables are CL2 rated for in-wall usages, and they also incorporate HDMI Arc and CEC capabilities.
SnapAV’s Binary brand offers passive versions of the cables in a choice of sizes ranging from 0.3 meters to 3 meters. Active versions of the cables will be available sometime in early first quarter 2021 and the active versions will be available in sizes ranging from 4 meters to 20 meters.
