iHome Bluetooth Bluetooth Alarm Clock with home-automation app

Their Words

Control your home at your bedside with iHome’s Bluetooth smart alarm clock. A Smart Button can control lights, thermostats, outlets or streaming music. Full app-enhancement and voice button to control from a distance and USB charging for any device.

My Words

There's no model number on this product, but from online searches it appears to be a brand new product from iHome. I don't see any similar images online. Unfortunately, then, I can't get much more info on this cute little thing, including the price. The closest thing to this new product seems to be iHome's iBT29 that retails for $50 for Amazon Prime members.

It appears to utilize only Bluetooth, so to control smart devices we assume they have to be BLE-controllable (iHome makes some) or else controlled via an app that must always be open.

Do I want it? Considering I'm still using my clock radio from college, and it gains 3 minutes every month, I'd say sure. I would very much like a smarter alarm clock, but I'd prefer one with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa inside.

Will it make it? Of course.
