Video Display Product of the Year: Screen Innovations Slate Slate was invented to provide the best picture for the masses. Slate, made in the USA, is a multi-particle flexible optic offered in standard sizes up to 200” 16:9; larger sizes are quoted on request. Slate is available in Motorized, Zero Edge, and Fixed Frame screen formats. Eliminating the need to settle for a substandard screen in a family room setting, Slate is able to reject 65% of the room’s ambient light, as compared to the 10%-20% light rejection of a white or gray screen. Based on the technology from SI’s award-winning Black Diamond, the world’s first multi-directional ambient light rejecting screen, consumers can enjoy the enhanced picture quality in an ambient light setting with a Slate screen at a price that won’t break their budget. Note for pricing: 100” 16:9 will retail for $1,799.
