Aeotec from Aeon Labs makes a bunch of cool sensors including what appears to be the first recessed door sensor with Z-Wave. It will be demonstrated for the first time at CES 2014. The company also has a Z-Wave light bulb which is says is “coming soon,” as well as micro controller switches that fit behind traditional light switches to Z-Wave enable them. In addition last year the company worked with Sonte to create Z-Wave and Wi-Fi-enabled smart film that affixes to windows, allowing for users to control the opacity via remotely.
