If you are looking for something to complain about at this year’s CEDIA Expo in Denver, you might be in trouble.
The event is once again in Denver for 2014 at the Colorado Convention Center, where past shows have been warmly received. The host city is inviting and has a cool vibe that fits quite well with laid-back CEDIA attendees.
But the real positive vibes are coming from the custom installation industry itself. For example, the number of new products being introduced is mind-boggling. The CE Pro BEST Awards had more entries than ever before (153) as the vendor community shakes off the last vestiges of the recession and moves aggressively forward with new product introductions. There are nearly 500 booths on the exhibit floor this year, also up from 2013.
Meanwhile, on the educational front CEDIA has more than 100 training sessions at the Expo with a strong focus on business classes, along with all the technical courses. In all, there are more than 40 courses that have never been presented before.
In this special CEDIA Scoop, we are highlighting some of the key educational sessions, showing many of the new product introductions, and revealing some great ways to “attack the show” to make the most of your time in Denver. Download this document to get the 2014 CEDIA scoop.
