TruAudio Issues Limited Release of New High-End Speaker Line

TruAudio’s new Select Series of high-end speakers debuts with a bookshelf and subwoofer sold exclusively through selected dealers.

 •

TruAudio has announced the limited release of a new high-end line of speakers dubbed the Select Series. The S63 bookshelf and W12 subwoofer in the series are available to purchase directly or through a selective amount of dealers.

The Select Series concept was born when TruAudio had the desire to create a series that would identify with high-end integrators and their passion for accurate sound reproduction.  Designed, engineered and built in the U.S., Select Series took over 1,000 hours of design and engineering to develop.

The new in-room S63 speaker boasts a triple array of 1-inch tweeters, two 6.5-inch extreme high-excursion mid-bass drivers, patented MMAG Motor Technology licensed from STEP Technologies, and a bi-wire crossover. The W12 subwoofer includes ICE power, axially aligned opposing 12-inch drivers creating total force cancellation allowing for maximized output, multi-radius rubber sound for extended 3-inch peak-to-peak cone travel, and comes complete with a 700-watt power output.

“The Select Series has been a sound engineering paragon from its initial concept to final design,” says Kary Wawrzyniak, executive vice president of operations at TruAudio. “The Select Series S63 and W12 will be the speaker of choice for people who want the very best for their two-channel and home theater experience.”

For a limited time, TruAudio will be offering exclusive Select Series drives filled with their media kit, images, logos, recommended demo tracks and three High-Resolution Audio songs when for dealers.

TruAudio designs and manufactures a full-line of audio products sold exclusively through a dealer network and authorized distributors in over 60 countries. The company is headquartered in Hurricane, Utah, with distributing locations in the Netherlands and Atlanta. At the CEDIA show last fall, the company made a splash with the announcement of its new spinoff brand, VSSL, and its new multiroom audio system, the first ever to use Google Cast, according to TruAudio.
