The high-performance audio company Wisdom Audio will showcase its new SC-2 and SC-3 system controllers during CEDIA 2017 in San Diego on Sept. 5-9.
Exhibiting in booth #4849, Wisdom Audio says its second-generation controllers are designed to help integrators overcome the acoustical obstacles that are inherent with residential audio system installations.
"Wisdom Audio has been providing electronic room acoustic solutions for over a decade, helping installers fine-tune the frequency response of our speakers in real-world installations. This helps achieve the best high-performance audio and clarity not just in our lab but in the most important environment—the end-user's home," says Luc Guillaume, managing director, Wisdom Audio. "Dirac Live by Dirac Research is the most advanced room correction technology available today, and with the platform's impulse response and frequency response adjustment, our system controller will ensure a pristine listening experience in even the most challenging environment."
The Reno, Nev.-based company says the SC-2 is a 2RU component that incorporates eight input channels and 16 channels of output. The SC-3 is a 3RU product that includes 16 channels of inputs and 32 output channels.
Both controllers operate at 24-bit/96kHz, and provide digital active crossover and digital EQ profiles to complement Wisdom's loudspeakers.
Wisdom Audio also points out that its new second-generation controllers also incorporate Dirac Live, which is an acoustics tool kit that provides a full array of calibration options.
"Wisdom Audio is a leader in exceptional high-resolution audio technology and performance. This leadership is driven in part by the company's intensive understanding of acoustics barriers that no speaker alone can overcome," notes Niklas Thorin, general manager of high performance at Dirac Research. "When the clarity of Wisdom Audio's planar magnetic drivers solutions are paired with Dirac Live, installers are able to conquer any environmental flaws that can impede with delivering absolutely stunning audio in any space."
