Vanco Evolution Switches and Extenders Handle 4K, HDBaseT
The latest Vanco signal management products are designed to address residential and commercial A/V system applications with features like 4K compatibility and HDR10 support.
Adding to its Evolution Series of products, the latest Vanco signal management products are designed to provide residential and commercial integrators more product choices to better enable efficient A/V system installations.
Here is a closer look at each of the three new products:
Vanco 3x1 Switch with HDR and CEC
The HDSW4K31 3x1 switch is an HDCP 2.2 compliant solution capable of switching three sources to switch to a single display.
In addition, the product also provides Consumer Electronic Control (CEC) pass-through to support a choice of control capabilities.
Vanco HDMI 4K 8x8 Matrix Selector Switch
Incorporating HDCP compliance, the Vanco 280688 8x8 Matrix Select Switch is capable of simultaneously distributing as many as eight source signals to eight displays.
The product features the company's latest EDID management technologies to help quickly recognize sources for instant distribution, and the 8x8 switch supports signals up to 4K at 60Hz with HDR and 48-bit Deep Color.
Vanco describes the product as a "jack of all trades" type of solution through its ability to handle content such as 3D, wideband bi-directional IR (30kHz to 60kHz) with eight IR transmitters and nine IR receivers, and audio content that includes Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio via its HDMI output.
Evolution 4K HDBaseT Extender with KVM
Engineered to transmit audio and video via HDMI and KVM (keyboard, video mouse) through the use of USB 2.0 over a single category cable, the Evolution EVEXKVM2 4K HDBaseT Extender with KVM sends signals up to 230 feet.
Vanco says the EVEXKVM2 is a plug-and-play extender for any device needing to be controlled via keyboard and mouse.
With USB 2.0, KVM users can control security NVR/DVR devices, a NAS system, and other products. Vanco says that with the product there is no need to run a separate line or extender just for KVM control, and the product's Power Over Cable (PoC) integrates power into the Cat-5e/Cat-6 cable to omit the need for a power supply at the receive or transmit ends of the system.
The product also includes EDID management and auto EQ distance for the proper transmission and reception of HDMI signals.
The EVEXKVM2 is compatible with 3840 x 2160 (UltraHD) at 60Hz, as well as audio formats such as LPCM, DTS, and Dolby Digital.
It also delivers bi-directional wideband IR, HDBaseT 2.0 with CEC support, and it is compatible with HDMI 2.0, DVI 1.0 and HDCP 2.2/1.4.
