Closing the year out in a flurry, Vanco and its brands Vanco, Evolution, Pulse Audio and Beale Street Audio have announced several new products.

Vanco and its family of brands are launching new optical HDMI cables, a matrix selector switch, a Wi-Fi streaming receiver, and a selection of amplifiers.

Vanco Active High-Speed HDMI Optical Cables

The Midwest company says that its Vanco Active High-Speed HDMI Cables are available in a choice of sizes that includes 35-, 50-, 75-, 100-, 150-, 200-, 250- and 330-foot lengths. Vanco says that its new optical cables support 4K Ultra HD at 60Hz, along with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, and high dynamic range (HDR) content.

Vanco notes the UL listed cables comply with HDCP 2.2 copyright protection standards, and the products also pass the latest multichannel audio format, including the object-based Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.

Moreover, the cables deliver 18Gbps throughput, and they are CMP rated and EMI tested to minimize interference with wireless signals.

Evolution HDBaseT 16x16 Matrix Selector Switch

The latest Evolution product is the HDBaseT 16x16 Matrix Selector Switch (EVMX4K16).

Designed to support Ultra HD 4K at 60Hz, and 4:2:0 chroma subsampling, the EVMX4K16 is capable of transmitting 4K signals up to 131 feet (40 meters) and 1080p content up to 230 feet (70 meters).

Vanco points out the product incorporates 16 HDMI inputs, 14 HDBaseT outputs, two HDMI outputs, and 16 analog audio outputs. The product also offers a micro USB port for firmware upgrades, and it provides integrators with Power over HDBaseT (POH) to power receivers over category cable.

Pulse Audio WiFi Streaming Receiver (PASTREAM) & Amplifiers

According to Vanco, its new Pulse Audio WiFi Streaming Receiver (PASTREAM) provides any amplifier and distributed audio system the ability to stream music over a wired or wireless Internet connection.

Users can control the PASTREAM via their iOS or Android devices through Pulse Audio's companion app, and the company says that consumers can sync their Spotify, Oplay TuneIn, iHeartRadio and Tidal accounts.

PulseAudio is also announcing four new two-channel amplifiers. The new amps utilize Class D amplification technologies, and the amps are available in 25- watt, 60-watt, 125-watt and 150-watt version models.

The amplifiers offer connection options for RCA and 1/8-inch stereo inputs, and stereo and mono/bridge modes.

In addition, the amps provides standby modes that engage after five minutes of inactivity to save on power consumption, and source sensing that wakes up the amps once a source is activated.

Beale Street Audio A120 High Efficiency Amplifier

Compact in size, the A120 amplifier from Beale Street Audio utilizes a Class D design to produce 120 watts.

The A120 features a stereo/mono line level audio input, and the amplifier accepts full-band audio from an amp, preamplifier or LFE output. The A120's rear panel includes a stereo speaker level input that allows amplified stereo audio to pass through the amplifier unprocessed to a pair of connected speakers to address scenarios such as the addition of subwoofers to whole-house audio systems.

Other features built into the A120 include power conservation that shuts the amp off after 15 minutes of inactivity, and instant turn-on once an audio signal is detected.

Additionally, the A120 offers crossover adjustment options, phase adjustments, volume controls and on/off controls.
