URC Direct Dealers to Sell Luxul Networks
URC and Luxul have announced a new partnership that includes dealer support services, training and streamlined purchasing for URC Total Control dealers.
Beginning next month, URC will offer enhanced service, support, marketing and streamlined selling of Luxul professional-grade networking products to its Direct Dealers. Full details will be announced later in February and posted in URC's password-protected, dealer-only website, The URC Control Room. Luxul and URC have already begun an extensive program of cross training and professional collaboration for URC dealers.
"We're excited to be entering into this strategic partnership with the undisputed leader in networking products for the Custom Integrator, Luxul. Our goal is to ensure our dealers have everything they need to provide a rock-solid reliable network backbone for every project,” says Cat Toomey, URC director of marketing.
"The weakest link in over 75 percent of smart home systems is the network, especially the wireless network. Through mutual collaboration with Luxul that will span every aspect of our custom business, we aim to conquer that obstacle and tame the LAN,” she adds. "All too often, custom dealers install a fantastic home system but build it on a networking platform that doesn't match the grade of the other components of the job. We see this as one of the most critical aspects of any installation for every customer."
Jeffrey Curtis, CEO of Luxul, notes, "Luxul and URC have a fantastic long-standing partnership working together to help URC dealers deliver better networks. We're excited to be taking this partnership to a new level and working even more closely together to benefit URC dealers and customers alike."
"One of the most critical problems dealers face has to do with wireless coverage and wireless roaming, which is a problem solved by the Luxul Wireless Controller."
