Surviving HDMI: Tips You Can Really Use
Free Webinar today: HD Video Distribution: How to Make it Work -- no specs, no theory, just practical solutions to real-life problems in the field.
Today’s Webinar on whole-house HD offers technical advice for installers … not a bunch of HDMI theory.
If you’re one of those people that actually installs HD video systems, you’re probably tired of the whining and excuses about HDMI.
HDMI is here and we have to live with it, so what are you going to do about it?
Today, two product managers and HDMI specialists from SnapAV share horror stories from the field and offer solutions to some of the most annoying and persistent problems surrounding video distribution.
In the one-hour Webinar, “HD Video Distribution: How to Make it Work,” industry veterans David Moore and G. Paul Hess will address the three major pain points in HDMI distribution, and suggest installation and troubleshooting practices that work.
And the three pain points are:
1. Transmission lines
3. Sources and displays (EDID)
“This is not another lecture HDMI theroy and specs,” says SnapAV marketing VP Adam Levy. “We’re going to offer practical solutions to real-life problems in the field.”
The Webinar draws from the most common calls received by SnapAV’s tech support team.
Dealers are invited to bring their own tech-support issues to the Webinar. If they’re not answered during the online event, SnapAV and CE Pro will try to answer them offline.
