One of the best-sounding demo rooms during CEDIA 2017 belonged to the Carson, Calif.-based manufacturer Starke SoundFounded in 2009, Starke Sound says it goal is to create high-performance audio speakers that also offer contemporary industrial designs.

During the recently completed CEDIA show in San Diego, Starke introduced its new IW-H5 Elite loudspeaker. The company says the IW-H5 Elite loudspeaker utilizes its Linear Magnetic Field (LMF) technology, which it says extends the frequency range, while minimizing distortion.

Starke explains the Beryllium tweeter used in teh IW-H5 Elite speaker is capable of reproducing high frequencies with a high amount of detail, and the speaker's carbon-fiber reinforced thermoplastic (CFRTP) driver cones provide strength and rigidity to reduce variations in sound quality.

Starke also explains that its engineering team has also prioritized the crossover design of the IW-H5 to help ensure maximum performance.

According to the company, the 4-ohm, 92dB sensitive speaker is rated to produce a frequency response of 32Hz to 40kHz through its multi-driver design that features a 1-inch Beryllium tweeter, along with dual 4-inch carbon fiber with golden phase plug midrange drivers with Starke's LMF technology, and a pair of aluminum driver baskets with its LMF technology.
