Sanus TV Mount Accessory Eliminates the Need for Electricians
Sanus says its latest mount accessory, the new ELM806 is easy to install and it can save installers time and money.
Sanus manufactures a variety of home electronics accessories that range from speaker stands and equipment racks, to flat-panel TV mounts and cable management solutions.
Adding to its list of support solutions the company recently introduced the ELM806 in-wall cable and power accessory, and according to the Eden Prairie, Minn.-based company, this new product can save installers time during the installation process and it eliminates the need to hire an electrician to install a power receptacle behind the TV. Sanus says the ELM806 enables installers to run cabling and power behind a TV to maintain the aesthetics of an interior design without electronics disrupting that look, and it says the product can be installed quickly.
The ELM806 ships with these components to provide everything an electronics professionals will need to discretely install a flat-panel television:
- One PowerIn panel
- One PowerOut panel
- A six-foot powerwire prewired power outlet
- A one-foot powerwire prewried power inlet
- Prewired power connectors
- A six-foot PowerConnect Supply cord
- All the necessary hardware
- Installation template
Sanus says that professional installers can use the ELM806 in tandem with thin TV mounts and today’s thin flat-panel TVs to create more space behind the television.
