Outdoor Speakers at Tailgate Parties, Take 2
MVP portable speakers from Acoustic Research should be sold with every BBQ pit, tailgate, beach umbrella and where ever pretty people congregate.
Well, well, I just posted the story about selling outdoor speakers at tailgate parties, and it looks like Acoustic Research beat me to it.
I just stumbled across the company’s MVP portable wireless speakers with customizable Skinit covers, as seen in the tailgate ad (right) with the pretty people and perfect hotdog buns.
Pretty slick, and slightly more portable than the beloved OutCast Jr. from Soundcast, thanks to the convenient handle and small size (but we doubt it sounds as good).
The speaker features Bluetooth connectivity to stream and control music via a smart phone.
And here’s a handy bonus: A “hidden” storage compartment can hold your keys and other small items, although we question just how “safe” these items are – wouldn’t a thief just grab the speaker?
The speakers can operate up to 14 hours on six AA batteries – not as nice as Soundcast’s rechargeable speaker but what do you expect for $100?
Take the MVP, Soundcast OutCast and OutCast Jr. to the next tailgate, and sell good-better-best.
