OK, Seriously Now on Crestron Pyng: Programming Without a Laptop?

New video showing a dealer tossing his laptop and apparently programming Crestron via an iPad reveals biggest clue yet to Pyng, debuting at CEDIA Expo 2014. No funny business this time.

Looks to me that this "installer" is programming Crestron with a tablet. Pyng?

So people are wondering what the heck Crestron Pyng is, and the home automation company has been quieter than usual.

I’ve been briefed on it in advance of CEDIA Expo 2014, so I can’t do my usual “speculation” piece on this one.

I can say, however, I like what I see so far. Non-dealers will be drawn to Crestron for the first time, and existing dealers will be all atwitter, I’m sure.

I think the new Crestron video showing “dealers” chucking their laptops is a pretty obvious clue to Pyng, but I’ll leave it to you guys to decipher the meaning in the comments section below.
