NTW Group Secures RJ45 Connections
NTW's new Net-Lock line or RJ45 security locks prevents unwanted users from plugging into RJ45 ports.
Usually when someone thinks about network security, they think about high level things like firewalls, encryption keys and other complex pieces to the network security puzzle.
The Dayton, N.J.-based manufacturer NTW Group is taking a more basic, but just as effective approach to security with the release of its PortBlockers product.
PortBlockers are the latest addition to NTW Group’s line of Net-Lock Solutions and are engineered to snap into any unused RJ45 port to prevent unauthorized port access and other security breaches. The product is available in a choice of four proprietary color codes and is keycoded for easy identification and added security.
NTW Group says electronics professionals can use the PortBlocker products for installations in the fields of corporate and finance, healthcare and insurance, public transportation, education, the food industry and retail online Internet service.
