Continuing its commitment to the custom-installation market, the new small-footprint NAD CI 8-120 DSP whole-house audio amplifier will make its debut at ISE 2019.

Exhibiting in 15-B236 Hall 15, NAD says that its latest product specifically targets custom installation applications, and through its design, the amp provides integrators a compact amplifier capable of driving four stereo zones of speakers with high levels of efficient power.

"As the professional installation market continues to grow and evolve, NAD believes that refined audio performance, dependability and CI functionality are not mutually exclusive. There is no need to compromise. We will offer an extremely reliable platform with the necessary feature set to make system designers and installers happy, while delivering the NAD signature sound," explains Joe de Jesus, custom installation product manager, Lenbrook International, the owner and manufacturer of the NAD brand.

"NAD has deep roots in the custom market and our new CI 8-120 DSP leverages our proprietary technologies in ways that deliver valuable benefits both the quality oriented custom integrator and their clients."

A Sneak Peak at the NAD CI 8-120 DSP Amp's Features

As part of the Lenbrook exhibit, NAD will preview the CI 8-120 amplifier during Integrated Systems Europe (ISE 2019), which takes place this week from Feb. 5-8 in Amsterdam.

According to the Canadian-based company, the 1U whole-house audio amplifier's small footprint takes up a minimum amount of space within a rack to allow integrators to design cost-efficient A/V systems.

Through the use of NAD's proprietary digital signal processing (DSP) technologies, integrators can tailor the amp's performance to meet the individual requirements of each unique customer installation circumstance.

NAD says the product is "expected to be rated at 120 watts x 8 channels, and be bridgeable to four channels."

Other integrator-friendly options include IP control capabilities to help facilitate the amp's installation into a range of control and automation systems.

In addition to showcasing new NAD products, Lenbrook will be highlighting products from its other brands such as the PSB Speakers' CS IW SUB and companion CS 500 subwoofer amplifier and its Bluesound brand's Gen 2i series of wireless whole-house audio products.
