More about Meridian
Meridian Company Info
Meridian, a high-resolution audio company, will be attending CEDIA Expo 2018 to demonstrate how its products can be integrated into a complete home theater solution using its free Design and Specification Service.
Bring your plans to the show and use Meridian's service to create high-performance schemes "quickly, accurately, and easily, saving hours of design time on a project," according to a press release.
Meridian will also showcase how installers can achieve immersive, hi-res audio using its 271 Digital Theatre Controller.
The 271 is designed to integrate any analog or digital A/V processor or receiver on the market with Meridian’s DSP loudspeakers.
The company says the 271 provides the highest quality dynamics and clarity in analog, digital, and 3D format applications. It also offers 16 unbalanced inputs, 16 balanced inputs and the option of 16 digital inputs, depending on your choice of processor.
Meridian Hosts Training Session, Shows 200 Series
Meridian’s 200 Series will also be shown during CEDIA Expo 2018, including its 251 Powered Zone Controller, 218 Zone Controller, and its 258 Hi-Res Eight Channel Power Amplifier.
The 251 brings Meridian’s noted audio performance to a variety of analog speaker applications. Its compact design features two powerful, cool-running channels of onboard amplification enabled for high-resolution audio, including MQA audio.
The Meridian 218 is a Zone Controller with multiple control options, suitable for a wide range of distributed high-resolution audio applications from single zone to multi-zone use.
The company says the Meridian 258 can be integrated with any existing passive loudspeaker system, adding power and performance to multi-room audio systems.
Also on display at CEDIA Expo, the UHD722 Ultra High Definition Audio Processor is a 4K switching solution, incorporating Multichannel Meridian High Resolution (MMHR) output.
This enables connection to existing processors, which the company says results in a significant uplift in the audio system’s sound quality.
The UHD722 features Meridian’s high-resolution Upsampling and Apodising technologies to offer enhanced performance from Blu-rays, satellite/TV receivers, and gaming consoles.
As part of the CEDIA Training program, Meridian’s education manager, Hugo Fitzjohn, will also be helping installers understand how they can easily integrate Hi-Res Audio systems into their clients’ homes.
Book your place now for "Hi-Res Audio: Are You Ready?" on Wednesday, September 5th from 10:00 – 11:30 am.
