With the inclusion of proprietary technologies such as XenConnect and XenSmart that provide interoperability and network management capabilities to installers, Luxul's Xen line of products offer installers a choice of simple to implement, plug-and-play devices.
Those using the word convergence should adjust their vocabulary because the migration from analog to digital is well under way and in the modern home many electronics components are already networked.
Supporting the growing array of networked appliances in the home is the Lindon, Utah-based manufacturer Luxul. With a goal of reducing network complexity, Luxul says that its products provide professional installers with a choice of reliable and high performing products that are scalable within the architecture of home network design.
The company’s Xen line of products is Luxul’s latest series of components and it offers installers a choice of pre-configured enterprise class routers, managed and unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switches, Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices and 802.11n wireless access points. All of these components incorporate Luxul’s XenConnect technology, which the Utah-based manufacturer says integrate seamlessly with other Xen series products to enable installers to create complete networked solutions for the home.
