Luxul Expands PoE Switch Lineup at CEDIA Expo 2013
Luxul adds four new Power over Ethernet Switches to it lineup supporting various network sizes.
The new additions will give custom installers a broader range of PoE solutions to accommodate virtually any type or size of network. PoE switch considerations and options addressed by these new additions include:
- Number of PoE Devices Supported (four – 24)
- Network Speeds (Fast Ethernet or Gigabit)
- Switch Management (Managed or Unmanaged)
- Power (15.4W 802.3af and 25.5W 802.3at PoE+).
“Luxul installers are finding that PoE really simplifies the network and device installation process. At the same time, each job may require a different switch or feature depending on the number and type of devices, customer budget, or management requirements,” says Luxul CEO Jeffrey Curtis. “By expanding the Luxul Xen PoE line, Luxul installers can better address these varying requirements.”
The company, which will be in booth #2350, will be displaying three new switches in the booth, the XFS-1084P (small desktop eight-port switch with four PoE ports); the XMS-1024P (Gigabit managed switch with 24 PoE/PoE+ ports and 4 SFP uplink ports) and the XMS-1008P (Gigabit managed switch with eight PoE ports and 2 SFP uplink).
