Lutron Integrates Fashion, Motorized Shades
Lutron's latest line of motorized shades integrate fashion and technology, ensuring integrators can meet clients' performance and aesthetic demands.
Integrators nowadays have it tough. On top of ensuring the new A/V system meets clients’ performance needs, integrators need to ensure it also meets clients’ aesthetic needs.
Since most integrators aren’t interior designers, this creates quite a challenge.
“People are blending fashion and technology, and we’re giving them the tools to do so,” Melissa Andresko, Lutron’s director of public relations, says in the interview below with CE Pro’s Lisa Montgomery.
Andresko adds, “People are having a lot of fun with color ... taking some risks in media rooms and some of the family rooms, but the traditional colors are always going to be popular as well.”
Lutron has color swatches for its shades, making it easy for integrators to match the shades to the clients needs.
Also at CEDIA Expo 2012, Lutron helped its dealers boost productivity with several updates to its RadioRa and HomeWorks software. And Lutron named the winners of its annual Excellence Award competition and two inductees into the Lutron Hall of Fame.
