After more than a decade with product in the RF arena, and after selling more than one million RF devices, Lutron Electronics has branded its wireless RF technology with the moniker of “Clear Connect RF Technology.”
Lutron first identified the need for a retrofittable lighting control system back in 1991 and introduced RadioRA (418 MHz) in 1997. Since then, the company has developed wireless lighting control for RF HomeWorks (434 MHz) in 2003 and RF Sivoia QED electronic shading systems in 2006. The following year, it debuted another RF control system called Aurora. Earlier this year, it brought wireless capability to its GRAFIK Eye QS and Sivoia QS products.
