Legrand is a diverse company that manufactures a variety of electronics and accessories for the residential custom installation market. Adding to its line of cabling products, the Penn.-based company recently announced that it has expanded its line of network cabling products.

The company says with the release of the new cabling products dealers will have more choices available to them to better serve their clients. “At Legrand we consistently provide reliable networking products focused on performance and ease of installation,” says Fritz Werder, vice president and general manager, Legrand Home Systems Division.

“This is increasingly important with the latest demands in entertainment networking. These new products along with our ongoing service, training and support will help our dealers meet their customers’ ever-evolving needs.”

Legrand says that it has released a total of 23 new SKUs and at the center of these new products is its broad range of Cat-6 patch cables. The company claims the cables exceed industry standards for performance, and its new blue-colored cables are available in a choice of lengths that range from seven feet to 50 feet. In addition, the company is offering gray Cat-6a jumper cables in a choice of 7-feet, 14-feet, 25-feet and 50-feet, and it is also releasing 11 new Cat-6a A/B keystone jacks that are available in a choice of colors. Moreover, Legrand notes that four new patch panels will join the lineup with 1U and 2U options available, as well as Cat-5e or Cat-6 options.
