More about Klipsch
Klipsch Company Info
Klipsch offers a range of audio products that includes everything from headphones to floor standing loudspeakers. Augmenting its selection of loudspeakers is the newly announced Klipsch Professional Series Reference Small Aperture Speakers.
The company says that its latest speaker products are designed to provide integrators with a choice of high performing speakers that unobtrusively blend into interior spaces.
The Professional Series Reference Small Aperture Speakers incorporate the Sky Hook by Swarm installation system. This tool-free technology is a self-adjusting solution designed to reduce speaker installation times by as much as 75 percent.
All integrators need to do to install the products is cut a hole, attach the speaker cables, insert the speaker into the cut out, and the Sky Hook system will adapt to the wall thickness to apply the appropriate amount of force necessary to clamp the speakers securely into place.
Through the Sky Hook system, Klipsch asserts that mounting technology "virtually eliminates" the possibility of breaking a mounting dog leg or damaging the drywall.
Klipsch Professional Series Reference Small Aperture Speakers Models
The architectural line of products includes the PRO-14RC in-ceiling speaker engineered to match the size of recessed can lights, as well as the PRO-14RW 4-inch in-wall speaker, and the PRO-24-LCR dual 4-inch in-wall left/center/right speaker.
Klipsch says its small aperture speakers were developed to meet the same levels of performance its other products are known for through the use of its core technologies, including Tractrix horns in the in-wall models, and aluminum-dome tweeters that provide high levels of efficiency and detail.
Aesthetically, the speakers feature bezel-free, paintable grilles, and the PRO-14RC in-ceiling model offers the choice of round or square grilles to aid the speaker's ability to resemble recessed lighting.
The company also has an in-ceiling bandpass subwoofer, the PRO-800SW , which features a flexible port tube that employs a 4.25-inch opening to match the diameter of the PRO-14RC in-ceiling speaker, and an 8-inch woofer.
Dealers can use Klipsch's KDA Series of amplifiers to power the sub. The sub is designed to match the amp's equalization (EQ) and limiter options, and Klipsch also includes IP control for integration with control systems from companies such as Control4, Crestron and RTI.
In addition, the PRO-800SW sub also serves integrators as an in-floor solution with a 4-inch x 10-inch floor vent kit accessory.
