Just Add Power’s 3G UltraHD Over IP Transmitter & Receiver Supports Reliable Infrastructure
Infrastructure is one of the most important parts of today's connected home. Just Add Power is making it easier to support a reliable infrastructure with its 3G Ultra HD Over IP Transmitter & Receiver.
AV distribution manufacturer Just Add Power has announced its 3G Ultra HD over IP transmitter (707POE) and receiver (508POE), which will be on display at the company's booth (#4081) at InfoComm 2017 in Orlando.
“We like to think of our solutions like building blocks. No matter what you invest in today, we’ve designed an infrastructure that can be sustained and manufactured reliably for many years, providing integrators with a scalable, dependable approach to their commercial video distribution needs,” says Taft Stricklin, sales team manager at Just Add Power.
“J+P’s portfolio is engineered so that legacy solutions work with any of our technology bought in the future,” adds Stricklin. “At the show, attendees will see our latest range of solutions that build upon that legacy, adding new capabilities to address the complexities of today’s commercial applications.”
The Largo, Fla., company says the products are designed for any size 4K HDMI distribution and matrix application, and that they’ll help integrators better manage their hardware budgets.
The transmitter and receiver are are compatible with HDR Ultra HD 4K content as well. Integrators can use the products as mix-and-match solutions with its more advanced AV-over-IP devices to create customized systems for their clients.
The two models offer the ability to transmit 4K Ultra HD video over a single Cat-5e cable, while providing options such as audio extraction, downmixing from 5.1 and CEC zone control.
The products also support the HDR10 HDR standard, HDCP 2.2 copyright protection and 4K to 1080p scaling. In addition, the products provide control options for RS-232, IP, and support for video wall applications.
Other products on display in the company’s booth include the new 2GΩ/3G+ PoE models; the VBS-HDMI-515POE receiver and VBS-HDMI-715POE transmitter.
Just Add Power notes these products combine new audio format compatibility and the features of the 3G system with the maximum 1080p resolution of its 2G devices. The products’ enhanced audio capabilities are highlighted by support for lossless audio formats such as Dolby Atmos, and they also offer control endpoints with RS-232 and IR (using VBS-HDMI-IRD), stereo audio output with 170ms audio delay, and CEC control.
In addition, Just Add Power says show attendees will see its 4K network video tiler, which it says is a versatile product that can be applied to a variety of installations that require multi-view flexibility, 4K and HDR compatibility.
One other product on display in Just Add Power’s booth will be its Plug-Play-Present which adds simple logic control to any transmitter. Integrators simply need to connect any source to an HDMI or VGA transmitter, and once connected, the device allows integrators to create a scene based on the video being presented.
