ISF-Certified Peregrine eFinity Projection Screen Combines Performance & Aesthetics
The Elite Prime Vision bezel-free screen features a 1.25-gain ChromaWhite material with a wide viewing angle and supports active 3D, 4K Ultra HD and HDR.
Ever since projectors first entered the home, companion white screens have been the standard accompaniment to these products. Stepping up the white screen product category is the California manufacturer Elite Prime Vision (EPV).
Sticking with its birds-of-prey nomenclature the West Coast company has announced its Peregrine eFinity Series projection screen. EPV says the screen features an internal framework with a wrap-around material that comprises its Edge Free design concepts. The use of the Edge Free design provides homeowners with an aesthetically pleasing screen that maximizes viewing area space through its small footprint without affecting the screen's structural integrity.
The Peregrine eFinity incorporates a thin 5.1mm black bezel, as well as an LED backlighting kit, along with an IR remote control, and EPV's 1.25-gain ChromaWhite projection material.
EPV points out the ChromaWhite material delivers a wide viewing angle with "full lambertian duffision," and it notes the screen has achieved Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) certification for image quality.
Additional features of the Peregrine eFinity include black backing that eliminates light penetration, and compatibility with video formats such as active 3D, 4K Ultra HD and HDR (high dynamic range) content.
