Illustrious Electronics Company SAE Introduces High Powered 2HP Amplifier
The latest amp from the legendary brand SAE produces exactly what the product name implies: 1 horsepower per channel or 746 watts per channel of power into 8 ohms.
For almost 50 years the California-based manufacturer Scientific Audio Electronics (SAE) has been building products to enable music lovers to play their favorite recordings at the volume levels they crave without any loss of fidelity, musicality and dynamics. The latest product from the legendary company is its 2HP two-channel amplifier.
Rated to produce 746 watts into an 8-ohm load or the equivalent of one horsepower, the company offers the amp in a choice of two configurations: standard and the 2HP-D version, which includes a full-color LCD power output display that provides users with feedback of how the amplifier is performing.
In addition to the two-channel 2HP amplifier, the company also offers an eight-channel home theater amp called the SAE 8300. SAE states this product is rated to produce, “300 fully differential watts RMS into 8 ohms for both home theater applications and when top quality is required for whole-home sound solutions.”
Dealers can hear and see these products at the upcoming 2015 CEDIA Expo in the High Performance Audio Room #7 in the Art District Corridor of the Omni Hotel, across the street from the Kay Hutchison Convention Center.
