Saving dealers time and money in the field, the newly announced Pro Compression Starter Kit from Ideal Industries is designed to provide integrators with a convenient and portable solution to help terminate coax cable runs.

Ideal says the new kit incorporates everything dealers need to terminate cable runs for HDTV and analog CCTV installations, including F-type and BNC connectors, as well as its PrepPRO coaxial stripper for RG59 through 6quad, and its Data-T Coaxial Cable Cutter.

The kit also includes Ideal’s OmniSEAL Pro XL compression tool. According to the Sycamore, Ill.-based manufacturer, with the OmniSEAL Pro XL compression tool, users in a single motion can compress F-type, RCA, RG11, BNC and mini connectors permanently on a coax cable.

Adding to the kit’s versatility, Ideal Industries says the OmniSEAL Pro XL compression tool can be used with other manufacturers compression fittings by adjusting the tool’s plunger depth to allow installers in the field to use their preferred brand of connectors.
