Outdoor audio and technologies such as 70-volt/100-volt have become highly desirable for dealers serving the residential and light-commercial markets.
Providing its dealers with a choice of these new, trendy products is the California audio company The DaVinici Group. During CEDIA 2016, the West Coast manufacturer announced several new outdoor audio products that include its EN-5T lighting fixture style speaker.
Jeff Francisco, CEO and president of The DaVinci Group, says these speakers allow dealers to meet to public's increasing appetite for outdoor audio systems.
"Consumer demand for outdoor audio continues to increase as more people take advantage of outdoor living spaces to expand their entertainment options and further enhance their lifestyles," explains Francisco. "The DaVinci Group has made a significant commitment to the category with this expansion and we intend to continue as a major player in the segment into the future."
The company says the new outdoor loudspeaker diversifies its selection of outdoor audio products by providing dealers with a speaker that includes 70-volt/100-volt or 8-ohm operational modes.
Other features built into the speaker include protected connections in water-tight housings, and a two-way acoustic design that features a 5-inch polypropylene woofer and 1-inch PEI tweeter. The DaVinci Group rates the speaker's sensitivity at 88dB, and says it delivers a frequency response of 83Hz to 20kHz.
The DaVinci Group recommends pairing the EN-5T speaker with its Vanguard Dynamics OS-SUB Outdoor Subwoofer for a full-range audio listening experience.
The EN-5T speaker is backed by a lifetime warranty.
