It’s easy to dismiss the wireless audio market as a category full of cheap, plastic speakers designed for the audio needs of 13-year-old girls listening to Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift.
The reality of the category is that there are a range of products and solutions that populate the market, including systems specifically designed for custom installers. These solutions are powerful, flexible and, for the most part, reasonably priced.
There were several new product launches at the 2014 CEDIA Expo that added to the competitiveness that is already brewing in the whole-house audio industry.
