Digital Projection International (DPI) announces the immediate availability of its HIGHlite Cine 330-3D projectors. Delivering up to 5,500 lumens, the new 3-chip DLP-enabled HIGHlite Cine 330-3D is available in two models: the high contrast HIGHlite Cine 330-3D-HC delivering 3,000 lumens and greater than 20,000:1 contrast, and the high brightness HIGHlite Cine 330-3D delivering 5,500 lumens.

MSRP starts at $29,995 for the units with HDMI 1.4a compatibility and 10-bit color.

In addition to providing more than enough brightness to thrive in large-screen dedicated theaters, the HIGHlite brings projection to previously prohibited rooms of the home, such as media rooms and family rooms that regularly contend with ambient light without sacrificing the contrast and image detail.

Serving as a complement to the existing DPI TITAN 3D product line, the HIGHlite Cine 330-3D models introduce native 1080p, 3-chip 3D displays to home entertainment venues for a fraction of the cost of entry level TITAN 3D models. The displays are well suited projector solutions for 2D and 3D imagery. The units also tout efficient long-life lamps that consumer low power and produce little noise and heat.

The compact chassis design and lens shift range of 120 percent vertical and 30 percent horizontal allow for installation flexibility. Multiple lens options provide further flexibility, with 0.77 and 1.16:1 fixed lenses plus zoom lenses with throw ratios ranging from 1.45 – 6.76:1.  HIGHlite Cine 330-3D connectivity includes two HDMI inputs, as well as RGB via D-15, component, composite and S-Video inputs.
