Control4 Educates Integrators on Social Media Savvy
Control4 Social Media Training webinars focus on how dealers can capitalize on being skillful at Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter and more social media outlets.
Social media is meant to be just that - social. It’s yet another way to reach out and get some exposure in front of potential clients.
A recent perusal of Twitter for CE Pro 100 integrators’ presence revealed that they’re not overwhelmingly embracing the famed 140-character-or-less social media format, and if they are, their “follower” numbers are mostly miniscule.
For larger companies that can dedicate personnel to social media, it’s more apt to be embraced, and there are some small firms making names for themselves in the social realm. But for many small integrators, it’s another “hat” the boss must wear and there’s simply not enough time.
Control4 wants to aid its dealers in the hows and whys of using social media to their benefit by training them in this increasingly important skill.
Control4 is hosting a couple of live “Social Media Training” webinars next week, which will also be recorded and archived. They are scheduled for Tuesday, May 15 at 2 p.m. MDT and Friday, May 18 at 9 a.m. MDT. Click here to register.
Presentations will talk about sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and more, and offer real-world cases in which dealers are achieving success through these outlets.
“The development of the Control4 Social Media Training Program is a direct response to dealer need,” says Jim Arnold, Control4 senior VP of sales. “Our dealers have asked for help navigating social media marketing, and we’re committed to providing it. Effective social media use provides direct access to current and prospective clients, while also enabling dealers to highlight their accomplishments and share industry insight-all of which plays into stronger branding and stronger businesses.”
