Now that the vinyl format has reemerged into the thoughts and minds of music fans installers are once again in need of product solutions to satisfy the demand for analog audio components.

Oakland, Calif.-based Musical Surroundings is the U.S. distributor of Clearaudio, a long-time manufacturer of turntable products and analog audio accessories, and one of the German company’s most popular source components is the Concept turntable.

This competitively priced turntable features a two-piece 30mm-thick Delrin platter, a DC belt-drive motor that is decoupled from main structure and a mirror polished Teflon trust pad. Also included as part of the Concept turntable package is the company’s Verify tonearm that incorporates friction-free bearings and a tempered steel bearing shaft that sit within sintered bronze bushings.

To accommodate systems with moving magnet (MM) or moving coil (MC) phono stages/preamplifiers Clearaudio also offers installers moving magnet and moving coil cartridge options for an extra $100 or $600 respectively.
