Celery Communications Services
Celery's communications services allow senior citizens and other non-connected Americans to send and receive emails, read blog posts and to post Facebook status updates.
At this point many people take it for granted—-the Internet—-but there are millions that still don’t subscribe to services like email.
A good portion of those not subscribing to Internet and email services are senior citizens. Troy, N.Y.-based Celery, LLC, provides those Americans not using any sort of Internet/Web service the opportunity to send and receive emails.
With Celery’s service, users can employ a standard fax machine as an email machine. The company’s service automatically prints incoming emails and photo attachments and outgoing messages are converted into PDFs and sent as email. Celery says that all the user needs to do is write an email address or nickname at the top of a paper document.
Some of the other activities users can employ Celery’s services for include Twitter messages, Facebook status updates and to read blog posts.
