CEDIA to Hold 5-Day Advanced Networking Boot Camps
Hands-on Advanced Networking and Systems Integration Boot Camp in Indianapolis July 22-26 and Nov. 11-15 covering VPN setup, VLAN segmentation, QoS verification and mobile device configuration.
With IT/Home Networking becoming more important every day for integrators, CEDIA is responding with two intense five-day Advanced Networking and Systems Integration Boot Camps.
The training will be held at CEDIA’s training facility in Indianapolis from July 22-26 and November 11-15. Early bird member attendance cost is $1250. Non-member attendance cost is $1625.
During boot camp, attendees will install, configure, and program multiple residential electronics subsystems into a unified home automation platform – all using a mobile device as both an entertainment source and system controller. Subsystems include A/V, HVAC, lighting, closed-circuit cameras, shades, doorbell, and more.
Prior to attending, dealers are recommended to take some CEDIA online training in the areas of:
- Advanced home networking with VLAN and QoS
- IP communication
- Wireless network design
- Residential network security for wireless and VPN applications
- Control systems programming
- Mobile devices integration (both as a controller and a wireless source)
