CEDIA Showstopper: Denon Headsets for Runners are Sweatproof, Bluetooth
New Exercise Freak over-the-ear headsets from Denon are wireless and sweatproof, and they sound good too.
At a CEDIA Expo teeming with cool TVs, crazy home automation systems and sick speakers, who’d a thunk that the showstopper would be a pair of headphones – not those four-figure babies but a little $149 pair that doesn’t come with a celebrity endorsement.
They are the Exercise Freak headphones from Denon, one of the first in Denon’s new line of headsets.
These over-the-ear headsets have Bluetooth, they’re sweatproof, they have a mic, they come with an app and they sound real good.
After all, Denon is an audio company.
I tested them out in the press room, running a few steps and doing a few jumping jacks. Sure enough, they stayed in my ears.
Here, product manager Petro Shimonishi explains the product.
