CEDIA Q&A: Why Rely on Cleerline Fiber Cables for 4K 60 HDR and HDMI 2.1?
Visit Cleerline at CEDIA 2017 to hear about why fiber is the only fool-proof method of moving 4K 60 HDR content inside a home or business.
CEDIA 2017 is days away and CE Pro is catching up with Robert D’Addario, president and managing director of Cleerline Technology Group, ahead of the show to hear about what Cleerline has in store for CEDIA attendees in booth #1725 next week in San Diego.
What would you say to dealers who are stumbling across your company for the first time?
We make adopting fiber easier than you can possibly imagine… let me show you.
What would you say to dealers who are already familiar with your product line?
I would ask them how far along are they with providing a fiber infrastructure for video distribution and networking.
Depending on their response, we could review their current options and discuss the overarching benefits not only of fiber, but what differentiates Cleerline SSFô in the market place.
I would emphasize the overall benefits and explain how we can support them in their quest to provide their customers with an uncompressed 4k 60 HDR experience today.
If a dealer/integrator stops by your booth with only 5 minutes to spare, what’s the one product he should examine or one question he should ask?
We would take them through a five minute demonstration of the Cleerline SSF fiber product, at the core of the product offering is the glass itself, so the focus would be on the benefits of our fiber vs. category cable, and or other fiber optic solutions available them.
Think of your closest competitor (company or product). What is one thing you offer that they don’t?
Our fiber optic product requires no formal training or certification required, and is easier and more efficient to install compared to competitive fiber and UTP/FTP category cable. We are Stronger, Safer, Faster.
Why are you looking forward to CEDIA coming to San Diego for the first time?
With the continued push toward 4k 60 HDR, and the pending 2.1 HDMI spec, fiber is quickly becoming the only fool-proof, reliable method of moving content inside a home or business.
We are excited about CEDIA as a brand leader in the fiber optic category because it gives us an opportunity to be face to face with our current and perspective customers and educate them on the benefits our solution provides.
Regarding San Diego specifically, the great weather is always an added bonus, we are hoping that San Diego will be strong draw for the west coast market that goes under represented when the show has been in the middle of the country or on the east coast.
