CEDIA Brings Home Networking Training to WAVE Electronics
CEDIA will be conducting two of its key home networking training courses at distributor WAVE Electronics Houston branch on June 27.
The Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) has partnered with WAVE Electronics to offer two home network training courses at the distributor’s Houston location on June 27, 2013.
The two courses, Designing Ethernet Networks (ESD341), and Intermediate Networking (EST333), are part of the CEDIA pathway to mastering the network and earning the CEDIA Residential Networking Specialist Credential.
“The network is the backbone of the home. Home technology professionals need to master their networking skills to meet the expectations of their clients,” says Dave Pedigo, senior director of technology and learning. “We offer a robust networking training program that includes the two courses offered at WAVE Electronics in addition to six more courses.”
Online training, covering recommended networking fundamentals, will be offered before the June 27 WAVE event. Network Cabling Infrastructure (EST233), IP for Technicians (EST243), and Wireless Network Technologies (EST253) will be available in June and individuals attending the WAVE event may take advantage of a discounted rate on this online training. These online training courses will also prepare home technology professionals who plan on attending the new CEDIA Advanced Networking and Systems Integration Boot Camp.
Registration for the WAVE courses is open and training is available for both members and non-members.
