In this comprehensive CE Pro 100 brand analysis series, CE Pro senior editor Bob Archer delivers an in-depth look at the most frequently used manufacturers in nearly 40 product categories. The numbers associated with each manufacturer reflect the number of CE Pro 100 dealers using that brand.

The brands that are used by the CE Pro 100 are closely watched because these are the most successful companies in the industry. Many integrators look to the brands that are being used by these companies as a signal of success. This brand usage differs from rank and file integrator usage because it does not include brands that are sold through distribution typically, but focuses on direct-to-dealer brands.

SnapAV continues to surge in the IR distribution systems category by adding 50 percent more dealers to its 2013 totals. The rest of the IR distribution systems category looks similar to past years. In total dealers utilized 20 manufacturers to satisfy their IR signal distribution needs.
