Bowers & Wilkins is adding four more speakers to its 600 Series — a three-way floorstanding speaker, a two-way stand-mount speaker, a center channel speaker and a subwoofer.

The new speakers are being released on the heels of the ASW 610XP Series subwoofer.

The latest woofer, the ASW 10CM, provides a step up by packing a 500-watt amp.

The CM9 three-way floorstanding speaker features a 25-mm aluminum dome tweeter, a 150-mm Kevlar FST midrange driver and twin 165-mm paper/Kevlar bass drivers. B&W says it’s targeted toward customers that want more substantial sound than the smaller CM7 600.

The CM5 two-way stand-mount speaker features a 25-mm aluminum dome tweeter and 165-mm Kevlar bass/midrange driver.

The CM Center 2 is larger than the other 600 Series center-channel speaker, the CM Center. The company says the CM Center 2 gives increased output and bass extension while featuring an FST midrange driver.

CEDIA Expo 2008 attendees will be among the first to see the CM9, CM5, CMC2 and ASW 10CM at booth 750.

B&W also used CEDIA Expo 2007 as a launching pad for new products.

All four new models will be available in October in real wood veneers.

MSRP (each):
CM9 — $1,500
CM5 — $750
CMC2 — $1,250
ASW 10CM — $1,500
