One of the most daunting or perhaps, frustrating aspects of a custom installer’s job is servicing an existing installation. The problem with working onsite is that installers aren’t in complete control of the environment and when it comes to the limited space surrounding gear installed into equipment racks a relatively easy repair or maintenance job can turn into a headache fast.

The British Columbia-based rack manufacturer AVraks’ line of rack products provides electronics professionals with a choice of rack solutions that facilitate service after the initial installation. The Canadian company says that it has recently updated its product line to make the installation process faster and easier for electronics professionals, and it has also been able to reduce its costs through increased efficiencies. AVrak says its standard rack products feature 3/4-inch “infinity” adjustable shelves, along with 1-inch tops and bottoms. The company points out that its tops and bottoms can also bear significant weight, and options such as additional shelves can be added or removed as needed.

AVrak also explains that its products are designed to work with a variety of furniture products and to further support the rack products’ ability to integrate into a variety of furniture pieces and room environments, the products vertical rails can also be trimmed as needed in the event that an order changes without prior warning.

The company adds that in addition to supporting dealers through its product revisions, it is also supporting them with new shipping policies. AVrak says that orders received by Tuesday of the work week will ship by the end of the week, and it is also offering second-day air shipping options to dealers.
