AVAD to Host Showcase Launch Events for The Frame by Samsung
AVAD will offer Samsung's picture frame TV, called The Frame, at locations throughout North America.
The Frame, the new lifestyle product from Samsung, transforms from a television into a gallery-like art display. Designed in collaboration with renowned designer Yves Behar, The Frame is designed not only to provide a premium entertainment experience, but also to enhance the look of any home, just like a piece of artwork that you would hang on your wall.
The product, a CES 2017 ‘Best of Innovations Award’ recipient, is a powerful combination of technology and design that was created with the modern user in mind. When powered on, The Frame offers 4K Ultra HD picture quality. When not displaying TV or movies, The Frame becomes a customizable work of art that can elegantly exhibit artwork and photographs via ‘Art Mode.’
The Frame is available in two sizes: a 65-inch model, priced at $2,799, and a 55-inch model, priced at $1,999.
Interchangeable frames, including white, beige and walnut shades of real wood, for the 55-inch model are available for $199.99.
Bezels for the 65-inch model are available for $249.99 allowing for further customizable options that complement a range of living spaces and personal styles.
Additionally, The Frame comes pre-loaded with 100 works of art. Users will also have access to Samsung’s ‘Art Store’, a growing library of more than 400 pieces of established and emerging artists, curated by several international organizations, galleries and museums, including Albertina Museum, Artspace, LUMAS, Magnum Photos, Saatchi Art and Sedition. There, consumers can purchase an individual piece for $19.99 or subscribe to the full collection for $4.99 per month.
Finally, owners can save and upload their favorite personal art work or photographs to The Frame using “My Collection,” which allows them to store their favorite content away for easy access to display whenever they choose.
“The Frame is the perfect solution for consumers looking beyond the traditional television to take an artful and more personal approach to the way they design the interior of their homes,” says Dave Das, senior vice president of consumer electronics for Samsung Electronics America. “We are excited to work with AVAD to showcase this groundbreaking lifestyle TV for dealers across this country.”
In partnership with Samsung, AVAD is set to host five events to showcase The Frame including:
- Plainview, N.Y., on August 10
- Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on August 16
- Chicago on August 23
- Dallas on August 29
- Van Nuys, Calif., on August 31
Each event will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time and provide dealers with food, beverages and the opportunity to see The Frame first-hand as well as speak with representatives from Samsung to learn more about this revolutionary TV.
In addition, The Frame will be available from all AVAD locations throughout the US. Dealers interested in The Frame or in attending an upcoming event can reach out to their local AVAD representative for details.
“We are pleased to provide AVAD dealers with the latest technology from Samsung,” says Seth Evenson, director, customer experience management, AVAD. “To celebrate the launch of The Frame at AVAD, we look forward to showcasing the revolutionary product at select AVAD locations and giving our dealers the opportunity to see the product first-hand. Samsung’s innovation with The Frame transforms the way users view television and we believe our dealers will find great success with this product. The Frame will be available at all AVAD locations throughout the US.”
