Sometimes, the little things can make a big difference. A/V accessories manufacturer American Recorder Technologies will be showing its latest products in Denver at CEDIA 2019, including its new Media Box Holder (MBH), developed to attach to the back panel of a TV to securely hold devices like Apple TV, Roku, DirectTV Genies and others out of sight.

American Recorder Technologies manufactures a diverse line of products that range from speaker stands and laser alignment tools to vinyl LP care products.

The company will be exhibiting at CEDIA 2019 in booth #4247.

Media Box Holder Mounts Without Tools

The company explains the Media Box Holder is made from "thick and clear" PVC material, and it ships flat.

American Recorder Technologies emphasizes that integrators will not need any sort of tool to install the Media Box Holder to the back of flat-panel TVs, and that all integrators need to do is unfold the Media Box Holder, peel its strong adhesive strips, which are rated to withstand up to 300 degrees of heat, and stick the product to the back of a TV.

Once the product is attached to the back of a TV,  the next step is to simply place the Apple TV, Roku or whatever device in the Media Box Holder.

The top of the Media Box Holder is open to facilitate the flow of fresh air to keep devices cool, and the clear material enables integrators to see the LED status of devices.

American Recorder Technologies offers the Media Box Holder in a choice of two sizes:

  • The SK-MB-S1 measures 5 inches x 5 inches x 1.75 inches, and its MSRP is $7.95. This product is compatible with Apple TVs, Roku products and other similar-sized devices.
  • The SK-MB-L1 measures 10 inches x 6 inches x 1.5 inches, and it accommodates products such as the DirecTV Genie product, as well as other larger-sized media devices. MSRP for the SK-MB-L1 is $9.95.

In addition, American Recorder has introduced its SK-1.0-003-TVB cable management kit.

Designed for use with flat-panel televisions, the cable management kit includes 3 feet of Snakeskin cable cover, as well as three 3-inch and 5-inch REGRIP Cable Straps and a pair of Strap Mounts.

The kit can be used for a variety of cable installation applications and it comes with a full-color retail clamshell for $19.95.
