Dealers will now have access to Panasonic’s full line of video surveillance products that range from analog solutions to IP-based technology, and according to Panasonic, this distribution agreement enables CE pros to provide a flexible security solution for networked environments.
ADI will distribute Panasonic’s security solutions, including its Super Dynamic 5 (SD5) cameras with intelligent technology as part of the expanding line of i-Pro network products. The complete product line also includes analog, IP megapixel and digital cameras, lenses, biometric access control, video recorders, management software, housings and network interfaces needed to deliver a total physical security solution.
John Centofanti, regional sales manager, Panasonic System Networks Company of America, comments that he expects ADI to accelerate and streamline the product availability.
Sethu Palat, senior product manager for CCTV solutions at ADI, adds that having access to a diverse line of products like Panasonic’s is important to installers that market to a variety of clientele.
“As networked security environments become more prevalent in today’s market, it is our responsibility to ensure our dealers have access to the right solutions to build complete video surveillance systems,” Palat points out.
