13 Subwoofer Demos That Rock the House

To ensure clients' emotional connection with today's home theater systems, a home theater must deliver tight and impactful bass. Here are some music and movie recommendations that communicate the power of today's subwoofers.

No other product category represents the home theater market more than subwoofers.

Consumers often equate home theater with large video screens and room rattling bass. Looking specifically at the audio side, the public has become more sophisticated with a growing number learning that reproducing those thundering dinosaur steps and exploding asteroids requires more than a product that makes loud thuds.

People are now realizing that it takes a combination of quality room design and well-engineered components that are able to articulate mid- and low-bass frequencies.

With all of that said, showcasing the capabilities of today’s subwoofers can be a difficult task. Modern music is often compressed and lacking dynamics. While there are plenty of movies that provide simplistic explosions and other action, the scenes themselves aren’t always compelling to viewers.

Saving dealers the trouble of finding quality music and movie demo content geared specifically to showcase subwoofers, here are recommendations from some of the top loudspeaker companies.
