2012 could someday be remembered as a year of tremendous technological advancements. Today, it's just another year gone by without the Super Bowl in 3D. How can the world's biggest television event not be a showcase for 3D, which is still trying to gain acceptance among the public? Here is my analysis. Super Bowl XLVI between the New England Patriots and New York Giants, which takes place Sunday, Feb. 5 2012 at 6:30 p.m. (ET), is going to set a record as the most-watched program in television history, according to Media Life's annual pre-Super Bowl poll. Former New York Giants wide receiver Amani Toomer will be watching his team take on the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl from prime seats at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
