Channel Vision, a manufacturer of technology for the Well-Connected Home, has announced it is providing a free DDNS service to its surveillance customers called Channel Vision Security. Channel Vision Security is a DNS service that continually tracks the IP address of the system and automatically changes with any IP address change. Telecom giant Verizon has launched its long-anticipated home connectivity and energy management solution, joining huge service providers ADT, Comcast/Xfinity, Alarm.com, Vivint and others in providing basic home control of web-based cameras, wireless thermostats, lights and appliance plug-in modules.
