With the advent of ultra-thin LED and LCD TVs, many consumers are able to enjoy HD video in more rooms in their home than ever before. To match the high-quality video experience, many manufacturers have introduced on-wall soundbars as a complement. One challenge with these soundbars is matching the design aesthetics of the TV and interior décor, while providing superior sound experience. While not new to soundbars, Polk Audio introduced at CEDIA Expo 2011 two ultra-thin SurroundBars to match ultra-thin displays to provide superior sonic performance and virtual surround sound.… View this story

Grant Clauser | 09/07 08:45 AM, 0 Comments
Polk Audio is debuting its LSiM speaker line at CEDIA Expo 2011, calling the speakers a "tour-de-force" with Polk's "most advanced engineering to date." Adding to its list of retrofit, wireless products is Polk Audio. The Md.-based company's new F/X Wireless Surround rear-channel speaker product is a convenient way for CE Pros to add… View this story

During a recent visit to Polk Audio, the Baltimore, Md.-based manufacturer gave us a sneak peek at some of its upcoming products. The speakers were great, and some of the audio tracks were fantastic. As you know, playing the correct tracks during audio demos is essential. It can sometimes make or break a client's decision. We recently shared the favorite audio demos and video demos of some of our CE Pros of the Week. Now, Polk has shared with us some of its favorite demo tracks and why each works… View this story

Polk Audio's RTi A9 is an example of how manufacturers have evolved their in-room products to meet the needs of a much different consumer demographic that requires sleek industrial designs, unobtrusive room integration and reasonable price… View this story
