Gibson Guitar is one of the most well known companies in the world. Its name is synonymous with excellence in music and audio. Approximately 26 years ago, a group of investors led by Henry Juszkiewicz purchased the once proud musical instrument company, which at the time was experiencing lackluster sales and a general disinterest in its products. Shortly after acquiring the company, Juszkiewicz and his staff began the process of restoring the Gibson name to its former glory. Today, Gibson is the preeminent guitar manufacturer, and recently Juszkiewicz set his…

A couple of weeks ago Gibson ran down its list of the 10 loudest bands of all time and of course it included iconic rockers such as Motorhead, The Who, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and Kiss. It made me think back to some seriously loud home theater demos, and how installers can lower the sonic boom in people's houses like these bands do onstage. In some ways the home theater market mimics the testosterone-driven mindset of Motorhead’s wall of Marshalls (amplifiers) backline through speaker systems from companies such as JBL…

Wilson Audio Sophia 3 loudspeaker
Robert Archer | 06/11 06:09 AM,
There are certain consumer goods that have carved a niche as the go-to or must have in their category. For example, in the world music, the Gibson Les Paul is an iconic instrument that no other manufacturer has been able to replicate. In the consumer audiophile world many people use the same accolades used for the Les Paul when they discuss Wilson Audio.
