When it comes to graphical user interfaces (GUIs), there’s a new “G” in town: gesture. As we noted in our Top 5 Home Technologies for 2012, touchscreen control is being supplanted (or at least complemented) by gesture-based control – just swipe the air to change a channel or lower the window shades, for example.
